Just 2 days ago, MI revealed its latest flagship phone — MI 9. The nickname of MI 9 is Battle Angel. Looks familiar? Yes, Aliva: Battle Angel, the movie in the theater right now, is the celebrity branding for this model. The slogan of MI 9 is “好看又能打”, aka “Good-looking and also fightable”.  So, let’s see why MI 9 is both good-looking and fightable.

The body of MI 9 uses the Nanometer Laser Technology to make the glass can reflect different rainbow colors from different directions.

The fancy edition of this phone has a transparent body, which users can see everything inside.

SO why is it also fightable? MI 9 is the first phone that equips Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 as its chipset, which is the improved model of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. After MI 9 came out, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is no longer the best chipset for phones; it has already become history. MI 9 can really help you become a Battle Angel in your games.

The triple camera on the back is composed by a Sony 48MP camera, a Samsung 12MP camera, and another Sony 16MP camera. With the most advanced technology so far, MI is still keeping tenet, which gives consumers the most affordable smartphones, so the price of MI is just 2999RMB, which is approximately 450 dollars.

Smartisan is a Chinese smartphone producer who is not really well-known, but it does not mean Smartisan phones are not good enough. The model we are going to focus on today is Smartisan R1.

This phone came out about one year ago. The chipset is still Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-core, which is the best one so far. A full-screen display is the most basic feature of smartphones right now. All the phones I introduced before have a full-screen display, but this one is quite different. vivo is another Chinese smartphones producer. As the name of the model — vivo NEX Dual Display Edition, this phone has another screen on the back besides a full screen at the front.

There are two choices: 10GB RAM and 128GB storage, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Each choice can satisfy the normal daily use. The chipset of this model is Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-core, which is also the chipset on some phones I mentioned before because it is the best chip for Android phones. This phone also has on-screen fingerprint and facial unlock. \

Another feature of this phone is its triple camera. A 12MP and a 2MP camera work like all the other phones with a dual camera. Another camera is pretty innovative; it is a TOF 3D camera. Its 3D sensing capabilities make point-to-point distance measuring possible, giving people a 3D model of the real world.

The bomber of this phone is its screens on both sides. There is no need for the front camera because the user can just flip the phone and look at the screen on the back. Also, the dual screens support conducting multi-task on cell-phones. Some additional controls can also be added to the back, and it will be easier to operate the phone.

Today, let’s focus a smartphone that is different from all the others. But before that, let’s talk about the company that is producing it – Republic of Gamers (ROG).

I will introduce the latest MI product at the end of 2018. As I said in my first blog, MI MIX was the world’s first “full” screen cell phone. To remind you guys, here is a gorgeous picture of the first generation of MIX.

But MIX is already 3 years old, which is really old in the cell phone industry, but, fortunately, we have MIX 3!

Like all the flagship phones, MIX 3 has up to 256GB storage, 10GB RAM, dual camera, facial unlock, wireless charging. The chipset is Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 845, the same as OnePlus 6T, which is the best Android Chipset so far. The camera can take slow motion video up to  960fps, which means you can have 960 pictures in 1 second. So a 0.2 moment, in reality, can be 6 seconds long. Artificial Intelligence is a big field to explore right now, so MI adds a lot of AI technologies on its cameras, so the pictures are really good.

MIX 3 also has a dual camera on the front side (or inside, I will explain later), one of them is 24MP, so with all the AI technologies, this phone is perfect for selfies.

As you can see, there is nothing in the front, not even a bang on the top, so where is the dual camera? Well, the best feature of this phone is it is a sliding phone (like Blackberry)! So the camera is hiding inside. When you want to take selfies, you can just slide the phone. The sliding form also has other functions besides popping up the camera like paying, consumers can customize the functions.

This phone is released at the forbidden city in Beijing, China, which is the Chinese emperor palace during the ancient time. And there is a special edition, which has a ceramic body. There is also a sculpture of an ancient mythical creature called XieZhi on the back of the phone, who can eliminate all the evils according to ancient Chinese culture.

Huawei, another super nice Android phones producer from China, launched its Mate 20 series on October 16, 2018. The whole Mate 20 series include Huawei Mate 20, Huawei Mate 20 X, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and the sick Huawei Mate 20 RS (collaboration with Porsche).

Huawei Mate 20 Pro is the one with a lot of awesome technology and AFFORDABLE.

You can see from the picture, this phone has 3 cameras in the back. Yes, THREE. One of them is 40 MP, another one is 20 MP with ULTRA Wide Angle Lens, and one is 8 MP but f/2.4 aperture (A variety of focus). In other words, the triple camera on the back of Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a large focus distance and a wide horizon. It can even capture all the details in 2.5 cm.
